About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Who needs a social life when you can stream Sherlock, The Wire and Louie, and then unwind with some Jon Stewart!

ABOUT ME

Currently doing this crazy MA program in three countries: Mexico, Canada, France, and trying to figure out how to say that to people without sounding like a douchebag.
Don't like soft music or long walks on the beach but coffee, wine, books and funny people always seem to put me in a good mood.

PHILOSOPHY

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only just started and I'm interested in both hosting and surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just joined couchsurfing but have hosted a bunch of people informally - whether it was people I met travelling who'd stay with me when they would pass my country, friends from other countries who'd bring a bunch of people with them, or travellers in my home town I'd meet through friends or out bar hopping who'd need a place to stay. Nothing but great experiences so far.

Interests

Endless podcasts with ageing comedians, unexpectedly good concerts, weird people who somehow worm their way into your life and become indispensable, cheese (not in any theoretical way - this interest is purely practical), BBC documentaries about just about everything: those people sure know how to make 'em!

Music, Movies, and Books

Will watch anything directed by Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Coppola, Scorsese... and anything starring John Cusack - even when it's terrible.

Love reading Hunter S. Thompson, Kurt Vonnegut, Etgar Keret...

Music: I don't think we've got that kind of time right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dia de los muertos in Mexico City, fantastic!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, let's see, I come from the exotic Balkans, have lived in exotic Mexico, and now find my self in plain old Canada, but let me tell you, it's all a sham! They're just as weird here as everywhere else! People, I mean.
