I grew up in Kyiv, in a family of actors, surrounded by stories, movement, and the feeling that art is part of everyday life.
After the war began in 2022, I moved to Germany, and now live in Bavaria, finishing my Abitur in a social science direction. I’ve done internships in psychiatric and neurological clinics, and I’m interested in psychology.
Besides studying, I’ve done a bit of everything: five years of theater, some drumming, film photography, English school, craft, travel, and lately some rock climbing

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Tourist routes don’t interest me as much as kitchens, shared meals, local people, and their everyday culture.
Right now, I’m traveling through Europe — light, low-budget (with money I earned in Zurich by selling cookies and washing windows), sleeping bag in hand, and open time ahead, because I’ve always been fascinated by different ethnicities, the history behind cultures, the origins of languages, traditional clothing, religion, and daily customs. And I truly believe the best way to learn about all that is not from books and tourist attractions, but from real people. That’s why I’m here.
In the future, I’d love to explore Central and South Asia, Africa, and South America. But for the rest of this year, I’ll stick to Europe.

All in one weekend, just to fund my next trip
Hitchhiked through almost the entire Balkans and back from Austria spending only €1.10 (had to take public transport once)
