ABOUT ME

Hello , my name is Ivan Federico Wenger , i´m a argentinian painter traveling arround Italy

✈︎ i will be visiting Italy soon , from 15-august to october

i studied architecture for 6 years and worked doing some restorations and new projects for a few years for a studio but i never got my diploma. recently I began to understand that my true passion was painting and that is the future I choose right now

My last part-time job for more than three years was having in charge of a museum related to the architecture of Le Corbusier, known as "Curutchet House",
there with the work team we programmed and carried out cultural activities for children and adults, I was also in charge of the Guided tours for tourists from all over the world.
Also in another tasks such as the arrangement of the daily agenda with both public and international institutional and diplomatic visits.

At the same time, I proposed with a group of local artists and friends to create a space for social and playful gatherings for all ages, the workshop is called "un galpon" (on instagram) there they carry out workshop tasks, dance, painting, theater , scenery and other multiple disciplines related to artistic expression.

With the pandemic all these activities ceased to a large extent, there I proposed the task of painting as a full-time job. Thanks to this I was able to connect with the plastic activity and it has opened paths previously unthinkable for me. I am very happy and excited to be able to continue carrying out these processes, while meeting people who inspire me in their daily and unique way of seeing things.

I would like to meet local people who are willing to share anecdotes and time with me, and meanwhile I would also like to settle somewhere for an undefined time, to finish with some of my paintings

navigate small boats (yacht skipper level)
restorations in general

i´m a non smoker person but i dont care if you are

also i´m fully vaccined.
