I was born and spent most of my life in Liepaja, Latvia which is also called 'city where the wind is born'. Now my paths have taken me to Southampton where I live already 8 years.

I can call myself and optimist and I feel much younger than I am

I am single and my daughters have left me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couchsurfing. I was introduced to this concept by my daughter who is an active couchsurfer and I decided to give it a try.

Interests

I enjoy travelling especially in UK and in Latvia. If I had means I would go everywhere.

I am a big fan of gardening, I need some green plants around me all the time. Unfortunately I do not have a garden but I have very nice flower beds that I cherish.

I consider myself a good cook, I can make various traditional dished as well as I am open to new recipes.

My hobby is knitting and crocheting. I can make elaborate jumpers for myself and my friends.

In my free time I enjoy reading romantic literature and watch movies

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy pop music, classic as well as disco music, my favorite is Sarah Brightman. Also I like Frank Duval and Abba.

I like romantic movies, comedies, historic dramas and some action movies. My favourite is Love Actually and many more.

I love romantic and historic books.
