Overview
About Me
Hello!
We are two good friends originally from Barcelona. Ivi is living in Southern California and Cristina is still in Barcelona.
Cristina is visiting Ivi in the United States for the first time, but not the last one!
That's why we are creating a profile together. Every time she visits, we wanna travel around the States and stay with local people, to get to know the culture of each place better and together.
We like to approach people to our culture, using food, music and fun stories as the main exchangeable aspects of it, and that is what we base our culture-learning on.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People can be fascinating. In our opinion, traveling without getting the perspective of the local people is not a full experience.
That's what Couchsurfing does. It allows you to travel in the most meaningful way.
We would like to accommodate and hang out with travelers too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Having a favorite band, movie or book sounds kind of limiting.
We can, instead, tell you the current bands, movies and books we are reading.
Ivi:
Bands I've listened to today:
- Dernière Volonté
- Malaria!
- Vatican Shadow
- Hala Strana
- Catherine Ribeiro
- Alu
I also have a little personal music project, called Ivi i Navi, where I sing and play digital instruments.
Movies I've recently watched:
- Not movies really, but West World, Narcos, Better Call Saul, and lately I mostly watch on Youtube diverse political interviews.
Books I'm currently reading:
- Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand.
- The Social Contract, by Robert Ardrey.
- The Clash of Economic Ideas, by Lawrence H.White.
Cristina:
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ivi:
Moving to California with my dog, and getting married to the most amazing person in the world. Pretty intense experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts
We love to cook, and we are pretty good at it!
Paella, sangria, Catalan food, Spanish omelettes, and amazing Mediterranean healthy food.
We also like to engage in deep and intense conversations about anything. A talk about the weather can end up being a 2 hours conversation about the most abstract subject.
We also like to discover breweries, bands, and new locations to walk around.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
