Hi! I'm Ivo from Sneek, The Netherlands. I love to travel all over the world and discover some places most people never heard of, mostly in Eastern Europe. Talking is my job: I'm a Radio Host at 2 Dutch radio stations (one with dance music from the 90's till now and one with Dutch music, my taste of music is really hard to understand ;-) and I also do some voice-over work, so don't be surprised if you hear my voice somewhere. I studied journalism and I'm really interested in news.

I grew up in Groningen, the city I'm still seeing as my hometown, but I recently moved to the province of Friesland because of my job. I was raised bilingual with a Dutch father and Czech mother. I'm right now trying to improve my Czech language, because I speak it too less.

I like to meet new people all over the world and discover new places. In the same time I like to introduce Holland to travellers who come here! I also want to improve my Czech language, so I'd love to meet some Czech people here :).

Movies/Series: I mostly like comedy films and series like How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family and New Girl. Most of them are English, so we can watch them when it is raining here.

Music: I like almost everything! On the radio I'm mostly playing recent (dance) Top 40 hits and Dutch music. But I also like 80's and 90's, rock, pop and a lot more...

I've been on Interrail through Eastern-Europe with a friend of mine. Since then I love travelling by train!

If you like beer: In Holland we love special beers, so try it with me! And of course the Dutch kitchen (which has some weird things, like a wall full of snacks) and other typical Dutch things. I do not only know Sneek and Groningen, but I can also introduce you to Amsterdam or some other city in The Netherlands.
