CURRENT MISSION
trying to find my place on Earth
ABOUT ME
Hitch-hiker, mountain guide, enthusiastic amateur astronomer. Like riding my bike on the open road. My profession is an English teacher but now I live in France enjoying the Alps and trying to learn french. Most of my friends are mountaineers, climbers and astronomers. Despite my age I'm not married :)Heard about Couch surfing from a Chinese guy I met in Varna with friends of mine who hitch-hiked along with him and from another two girls who are couch surfers for more than 4 years. Hitch-hiking abroad is one of my dreams. That's all I remember to write here. Later I'll write some more ;) I have visited Czechoslovakia and USSR - two countries which do not exist anymore.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not a philosopher so don't expect to read some wisdom here ;). A man has to walk his own road and it is better if he is not walking alone and the road doesn't lead nowhere. Met a lot of people while hitch-hiking. With some of them I would have liked to travel a little bit further. The same is in life - with some people you would like to be together more time and others - not so long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Met a few surfers on the road and with my friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed once in Romania in july 2011. My host Julian and his girlfriend were amazing. The other thing that made my weekend in Bucharest amazing was the Bon jovi concert I visited there :)And a three day trip in Paris staying at my lovely host Ailine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was an optical phenomenon. In the Pirin mountain on the 7th of august 2005 I was on a 2600 meters high peak and we saw our shadows on the cloud behind us surrounded by a small rainbow. Amazing.
5 days hitch-hiking through Europe and celebrating my birthday on the road.
