To write my first novel in the next 2 years.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy deep conversations, new ideas and will drive hundreds of miles if it means I get to experience or listen to an intriguing story. I'm an explorer and have traveled to many wonderful places. I can talk about almost anything and you'll be thinking about what I share for a while. If I'm without words, I listen. Listen quite well, indeed. I'm okay with silence and rest and activity and noise. Almost every day, I'm delighted by something that comes into my path. A random encounter, a detour that brings me a great surprise, a funny thought. My energy is playful, curious and creative. I work in the holistic health field.

PHILOSOPHY

My dream still is unfolding. I'm learning a lot right now professionally...and personally. I see my whole story as shaping me so I was ready for this moment and opportunity. I've gathered much along my journey. I believe my curiosity, openness to explore and desire to understand has supported me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My husband is from Uganda. We live in Lawrence now and desire to open our place to travelers coming through the area. Hopefully one day soon we'll be traveling as couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I've traveled, I've spent many a nights with strangers who became wonderful friends. I mostly stayed with intentional communities through ic.org.
