CURRENT MISSION

I just graduated with a Master's in Sustainable Development Practice, focusing on corporate and business sustainability, which means that I want to help businesses improve their impact in society and the environment through their practices.

ABOUT ME

I have been working at the University of Florida for almost two years and the summer. In August, I will be moving to NYC to try to make a career there. Let's connect! I'm easy going, love traveling, meeting new people, places and cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been on Couchsurfing when traveling in the United States and Europe. These have been some of my best traveling experiences as I got to experience so many cities from a different perspective, making my time there so much more enriching.

I am now reaching out to the Couchsurfing community because I will be moving to NYC to start a career in sustainability. After thinking about it, I have decided it is the time to do it and go big or go home. I am terrified though, I don't really know anyone there and have not gotten a job yet, so I'm not sure how far my savings will take me. I am super excited too, as I know I am capable of making a difference in the world.

兴趣

I love traveling, making new friends and giving to others. Professionally I'm interested in corporate social responsibility. I truly believe that traveling gives you a different perspective about ways of thinking and sharing the way you see the world. I have a BS in Biology and as you can imagine I also enjoy nature and the outdoors, even though I grew up mainly in the city.

I love music, I'm always open to new musical experiences. Personally, I enjoy new age, classic, alternative, indie music, and some pop and rock.
I like movies that are realistic and that in some way educate the audience for good.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I've seen is the pilgrimage of Guadalupe, in Mexico. I'm not particularly religious, even though I'm spiritual, but seeing that expression of faith (not fanaticism) was beautiful.
Getting lost in different cities, walking their streets, eating its food, and meeting its people is always an amazing thing I love to do.
Lastly, I just visited Lac Rose in Senegal and Machu Picchu in Peru which so far have been some of the most amazing experiences.
