I'm a law student, graduating in September. At the moment I'm doing a study exchange in Athens, Greece. Athens instantly became my second home and will remain so, I would actually like to come back here and maybe work here for a bit, since it is really a city that never sleeps, where there is always something new to discover plus the Greeks really are the most hospitable people.

In Ljubljana, my hometown, I have a dog and a cat, I live in the centre, I don't host people because I have no space. I work at a law firm, dealing mostly with criminal law. I am a member of Iskra, a students' organisation, fighting our unjust system and fighting to protect the environment.

I love to watch movies and am quickly becoming a movie encyclopedia, I also love to read books.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an interesting concept, a path to meet people you normally probably would not.
I use it when I'm in this special feeling that I would like to discover the whole world.

Interests

As I stated above, my main interests are the law, which I really like, but would like to expand beyond it in the future of my studies. I'm interested in criminal law, criminology, penology, European law, international public law, constitutional law, ECHR system, consumer protection law etc.

My main focus besides studying and my job is the work of our organisation Iskra. With our section for environment, we launch many projects each year, trying to influence lawmakers through policy pressure, organising and participating in events to inform the public, internal education and advancement and so on.

Favourite music: listen to many genres; hip-hop, rap, rnb, alternative rock, alternative electronic music, grime, bass, lo-hi-fi, house, techno etc. etc. etc.
Favourite band: Your Gay Thoughts (YGT). Also love: Pink Floyd, Connan Mockasin, LA Priest, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Lana Del Rey, Solange.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I went to the Azores, small islands in the Atlantic Ocean and there I went WHALE WATCHING. I saw approximately 10 sperm whales and two groups of dolphins. At one point there were 70 dolphins dancing around our boat, making us a show. It was absolutely amazing, everyone cried.
