Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Hi, I'm a new member of CS. I travelled a lot but I always stayed at hotels. It was very comfortable to have own room, a car and just close the door :) Yes, I do like be alone sometimes.
I was rather thinking Im too old and too serious for couchsurfing, but actually I shouldn't judge something without trying it out.
Recently I visited Cyprus with my friend, who is on CS since many years. We stayed at many nice hosts and I really enjoyed it. I discovered, that I'm not too old for that, and that I can always go to the hotel, but staying with the people gives me an unique opportunity to learn more and more about the country and the people.

Centres d'intérêt

I really like learning foreign languages in my free time. It is my medicine for a bad day. So now I'm working on French and modern Hebrew.

During the summer I'm travelling by bike and I love to get lost and discover new roads.
I like going to restaurants and trying something new. I don't like that new places, that are serving the same pasta bolognese or hipster bars,, which look the same around the world.
