Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
With my ex we returned early October 2007 from our first couchsurfing trip in Israel where we all met very nice people who shared with us their traditions and everyday lives.
I appreciate couchsurfing because through this travellers get an insider perspective into different cultures and experience things which are far from hotels and hostels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done canyoning in Slovenia and jumped from a height of 15 meters. Have you ever dreamt of falling....? It felt never that good to open my eyes again ;)
Crossing the Betlehem check point in Israel (from Hebrew to Palestine territory) with the copy of my passport, which made officials laugh. Smiling was a good solution, they did let me in and more important: back out ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am quite lucky workwise 'cause I can travel some time to conferences abroad and maybe I am able to combine these trips with some of my time and learn more about the given country or region.
I also like meeting new people and their worlds during travelling. This can be an amazing experience which keeps my mind and soul open.
