I’m Izaiah ☺️ solo traveler, part-time adventurer, and full-time curious soul wandering through Central and South America for the next eight months. I was born and raised in the heat of Miami but somehow ended up in NYC, trading beaches for bodegas over the last two years.

I love chasing excitement, whether it’s hiking up mountains or just chasing down the ice cream truck. But honestly, I’m just as happy lounging somewhere quiet, reflecting on life (usually with snacks involved). This trip is all about saying yes – to new places, wild ideas, and meeting incredible people along the way. I’m here to make memories, laugh a lot, and maybe even figure out how to salsa properly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So, this one time when I was about 13, my friend and I went to the beach with our moms. We thought it’d be fun to snorkel, and, being totally absorbed in the moment, we somehow spent two hours out in the ocean. Eventually, we figured we should head back, only to arrive at the shore and find—wait for it—a full-on search party, cop boats and all, looking for us! Our moms were freaking out, and there we were, just laughing as we casually strolled out of the water like, “What’s the big deal?” Ah, good times!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my self-care secrets – yoga, breathwork, meditation… you know, all the things that make me look calm while internally debating what to eat next.

I love to cook (total foodie, no shame), and if there’s music involved, you’ll find me singing, dancing, or just pretending I know the lyrics.

I’m also trying to learn Spanish – either to teach one day or just to give people a reason to laugh at my pronunciation. Jajaja.
