Hi there! My name is Izzie and I'm sharing this Couchsurfing profile with my friend Floss. Both of us go to University of Birmingham in England, and we've had the absolute pleasure of studying abroad at University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Izzie is in her third year of Psychology and Floss is in her third year of Law. Both of us love travelling, meeting new people and exploring new places. We are both outgoing girls who enjoy making memories and getting to know new people.
We are clean, tidy and respectful people therefore would make sure we were not a burden.
We are hoping to make the most of our time travelling and we think Couchsurfing would enrich our experience!

We're on Couchsurfing mainly because we want to meet new people who really know the places we visit. We love chatting and sharing experiences and thought that joining Couchsurfing would be an amazing way to do this. We've heard such good things about using Couchsurfing from friends who have used this service and are keen to give it a try on our trip through the East Coast of America and up into Canada!
We love the idea of getting to know people from the local area and getting to make more global connections.

兴趣

Izzie - I have ice-skated since the age of six! I joined an ice hockey team at university in England and have loved watching more of it on my year abroad in Canada 🏒 I have a real passion for volunteering too! As well as volunteering locally in England, I have done visits to Romania and Tanzania. In Tanzania I lived and worked with a local charity to build water tanks and do health community work 🇹🇿 It was a phenomenal experience! When I have the time I absolutely adore a good book. My biggest reading achievement is reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy cover to cover.

Floss - I love to dance and listening to music. I enjoy going to salsa clubs as it’s such a fun way to practice your moves and meet people! There is nothing quite like live music so I spend my time at home attending gigs and music festivals! A favourite memory of mine was seeing Stevie Wonder in Hyde Park - a night I will never forget!
I used to play football ⚽️ when I was growing up and I am a supporter of Arsenal. I enjoy watching matches with my friends. I went to my first baseball game in Boston and it was such an awesome experience!
I am a big foodie and love trying new things - a great memory of mine is a cooking lesson I took in Thailand in the back of an old restaurant, it was amazing!

Our music taste is ecclectic to say the least! Floss loves everything from Bruce Springsteen to Tory Lanez, Chaka Khan to Mura Masa and from Cardi B to UB40. Izzie really enjoys the chilled vibe of the Fleet Foxes, whilst also appreciating some old school Nat King Cole!
We both love music. Izzie has a beautiful voice (although she's too modest to admit it) and Floss went to dance school from the age of 3. Therefore we thoroughly enjoy spending our evenings listening to good music with a beer or a nice glass of wine :)
