Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently looking for a place to stay temporarily in New York. To tell you a little bit about my situation, I was born and raised in a small town Canada. I joined an Au Pair program, and have been working in the states as a nanny for about one month now. Unfortunately, me and the family I'm with don't mesh well and I asked to leave. I'm currently looking for a new family to stay with BUT until then I'm in need of a place to stay for a while in the U.S.
