I am known for being a bit of an adventurer. I love to hike, climb, camp, kayak, take LONG drives, play with all kinds of animals, sometimes put myself in danger (within reason, I'm not a SUPER daredevil). I generally travel alone, most of my friends are domesticated with a partner and kids, or are just not really "vacation on a whim" types. I prefer to relax and just play it by ear when I travel.

I'm not a party-goer, or a raver, and I generally do not drink, and I don't smoke. I'm pretty low-key, but I am most certainly not boring.

A bit of a language nerd, I know bits here and there, but I probably don't give as much effort to fluency as I should for fear of failure. Hope I get over that sooner rather than later.

I've done the Airbnb thing for years now and I'm totally okay with staying in a private room with somebody, but it's becoming increasingly harder to find that on the app. I also am just a bit of an anti-capitalist who has grown to hate Airbnb, especially as someone who would like to own some property and land to live on.

I've stayed with people before though, and as the years go by, and especially since covid, I find myself preferring to stay in a warm home rather than a sterile guest environment. It's lovely to chat with my hosts, and it's made for a much more rewarding travel experience for me. I've lived alone for 4 years, and traveled by myself during that time as well. I enjoy my company, but I've grown tired of hearing the sound of my own inner thoughts all day, every day. Gets lonely.

I enjoy hearing other people be passionate, full of life, sharing their stories, and offering new perspectives in life. In a world where everyone is becoming more of a recluse, I really try to get out there and connect with others and cultivate friendships in the strangest places. Makes life more interesting and fulfilling.

兴趣

I love to cook almost as much I love trying new foods, I enjoy painting and drawing, yoga, ice skating, and playing piano. I love a delicious little latte and am a board game FREAK! I also like to go around the house, updating and fixing and tinkering with things. And I've recently got into plating and composting as well.

I like reggaeton, rap and trap music, house music, acapella and piano.

Not much of a movie watcher, but I do read. No favorite books in particular, I love reading really boring non-fiction books about history, sociology, linguistics, and world religions.
