Heyy! I'm Jacqueline and most people call me Jacky. I'm studying linguistics and french in Göttingen. Beside from that, I am scout and work in the youth centre of a monastery.

Photos of sights and places are online so why would I only travel for that? For me, the encounters with people are what turns a simple travel day into a unique experience to be remembered and a story to be told.
Also, Couchsurfing is a great effort to make traveling affordable. It is OUR world and seeing it should never depend on money!

My main adventure is being a SCOUT. That unites a lot for me: being outside and offline, camping, community life, hiking, trying out new things, learning from children about life, facing and overcoming challenges, traveling, an international network of friendship, crafting, volunteering, faith...
I am guiding a group of scouts (age 9-13) and I love letting them show me the world through their eyes! :)

When hosting, it is most important to me to respect your personal space and I expect you to respect mine as well. I live in a small one room flat and we gotta share this room together. :)
