About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live like I'll be gone tomorrow; live like I'll be around forever.
ABOUT ME
I'm a born and raised downtown Montreal-er. My mother is Australian, from Melbourne, and those two cities are two of my favourite places in the world. Music fuels my existence, any style, performing, listening. I have been blessed/cursed with the need to do the thing I love both professionally and recreationally. I work in concert halls and recording studios, as a freelance sound engineer, and as an audio teacher.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My introduction to CS was diving straight into the deep end - having only barely heard of the site, I went on a month-long vacation to Europe with one of my best friends (A couch-surfer) who set up a huge variety of cs-accomodation. At every stop, the people were fantastic, and the experience uplifting. Generally, a re-affirmation of my faith in humanity and the kindness of strangers.
Interests
Music, music, and music. I love reading when I get the time, mostly fiction, but anything with words. I love watching and listening to people, I find it endlessly fascinating. I find myself increasingly loving being active outdoors, in many ways. I love learning to play new instruments, and I want to learn as many languages as I can, but that may be a bit over-ambitious...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met the Dalai Lama - I had to put the wireless microphone on him for a talk he gave at McGill. I also almost got into a fender-bender with John Williams at Tanglewood, Massachusetts.
