ABOUT ME

I suppose my friends generally say that I'm adventurous and fun to be around. I host great dinner parties and house concerts and put lots of energy into being the best mom I can be. I'm a nurturer, so it seems that I'm often taking care of people in one way or another, which makes me a good host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have three teenagers who will be on their own before I know it, so I'm gearing up for another great life adventure, which will hopefully include travels to great places around the globe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none. I have a few friends who have couch surfed and they're really great people.

Interests

My interests include nature, adventures, kayaking, hiking, sailing, music, dancing, Buddhist meditation, yoga, art in all it's forms, independent & documentary films, cooking and eating delicious fresh ethnic food, gardening, making a house a home, creating beautiful spaces.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Birthing my children at home (3x!) in a kiddie pool was one of the most amazing human experiences I've had personally.

Growing up on the Gulf of Mexico I spent many hours boating and sailing and have had remarkable experiences with sea life such as dolphins, sea turtles, rays and sharks and lots of storms.

I've traveled to some beautiful places but for me these experiences are exponentially heightened by the company I'm with. So, my fondest memories are not necessarily the places, but the people I've been with - connecting and sharing our humanity.
