ABOUT ME

--I'm a Programmer--
An aspiring one at least. I'm moving to the Bay Area in August to attend Hackreactor. And since I think its an awesome school, I will now shamelessly plug them: www.hackreactor.com

--I was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2010 to 2014--
Made some great friends and went on a few good adventures that I wouldn't mind sharing if you're curious. If you're also a vet, and want to reminisce, even better!
A lot of the military lifestyle involves sharing uncomfortable spaces with relative strangers, while figuring out how to get along and enjoy yourself. So, whatever your "couch" is, I can probably make do.

--I Played in a Professional Drum Corps in 2008/2009 (unrelated to military)--
If you're not familiar with Drum Corps International, look them up. They're pretty rad. While it is a musical organization, for the purpose of this website, I also want to emphasize that its involves hundreds of highschool/college kids living (and often sleeping) on a bus together for 3 months while traveling the country.
I enjoy music of all types, though. Listen to whatever you want. Unfortunately, I don't get to play much anymore, but if you're a fellow musician, we could still talk shop.

PHILOSOPHY

The funnest part of life, for me, is the continuing adventure. I will never stop exploring, whether those expeditions be for physical things, knowledge, or people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you want to cook a meal, I'll gladly buy you a few days of groceries. If you want to show me your favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant, I'll gladly pick-up the bill. I also enjoy good conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whatever your "couch" is, I've probably slept on worse. And if you can't offer a roof, I'd be interested in knowing good places to camp. I'm also just looking for people to give me advise on what to see while I'm in town.
