About Me
I'm as exciting as my profile picture lol.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been a member since 2009 but not active. I was recently awarded an opportunity to live in the UK for a year. This is my first time in Europe (after three decades of existence) and I am certainly hoping to make the most of my time here visiting as many places, connecting to as many people and absorbing as much of the local experience as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music and movies are my husband's thing. I love books though and am a big fan of Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and other similarly witty books in the fantasy genre. I'm generally a big fan of wit and puns, but also enjoy serious fantasy (Tolkien, Garth Nix) as well as children's classics (I have a collection of Paddington Bear books, the original un-Disneyfied version of Winnie the Pooh and Roald Dahl). If I visit your country, I hope to learn more about the local folklore and mythology as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One? Things get more and more amazing as time passes. Couldn't possibly list them all.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach occupational therapy and am guest lecturing in various universities around UK and Europe.
I look forward to learning more about life in Europe.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring local food from my hometown (if I have any supplies on hand at that particular point in time) or Welsh food. :)
