To just jump.
I have just moved back to NC (my home base) after living in Georgia, Alaska, North Carolina, and Hawaii for the past few years. I strive to live the simple life as I think it is the only way to peace and happiness for myself. I am on a constant journey to simplify my life in a way that works for me. This has proved to be a slow and deeply fulfilling path teaching me much about "village life", kindness, and the detriments of haste. I try to be fearless. I try to look at things that scare me and say, "wow, I'd really be proud of myself if I did that," and then just jump. I love to surf, cliff jump, body board, rock climb, waterski, camp, and anything else that makes me really scared and consequently, really proud. I want to be outdoors and most importantly, I want to try everything. I love fires and someday would like to live somewhere that I can chop my own wood (just need someone to teach me!)but until then, I find contentment around a crackling bonfire no matter the season.
Radical kindness and radical honesty.
Also, I attend Quaker meeting regularly and strive to live in accordance with Quaker ideals on simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality
simplicity, sustainability, forgiveness, carrying a dozen eggs for miles, spinach, black sweatshirts, huts, intentional walks, conversations with strangers, silence with friends, nightfall, boots, thunder storms, vocabulary, snail mail, tunisian patchouli, innate kindness, learned kindness, appropriate consequences, brooms made out of pine needles, running errands, happiness that takes me by surprise, quiet voices, condition-less love, radical honesty, texting google, space-sharing, research, osteopathy, hugs, grammar, body awareness, bartering, and breathing deeply

Music, Movies, and Books
Books are my favorite thing. I collect them and never feel quite at home until my books are categorized and nestled into the dusty corners of whatever happens to be my current living space. I read anything and everything, sniffing bindings as I go.
I am determined to learn to pick the banjo. I had many'a failed attempt but, I'm a persistent person.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been arrested in Paris for jaywalking, hit by a car while riding a scooter down Mt. Titlus in Switzerland, put a fallen contact lens back in while surfing a wave in Hawaii, and smacked a bear on the ass in Alaska.
