I'm a student but will soon enough be finished and be able to host people.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life without regrets. Things happen, and even if it seems bad at the time in retrospect I probably learned a valuable lesson.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At some point, when I'm not living in college dorms, I'd love to host. That's probably a few years in the future, though, and when I'm at school I'm in dorms and kind of away from public transport, so I only really participate in the summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed for a total of 10 nights, with four different hosts. I've yet to host someone myself, but within a year I'm hoping to have a place of my own with a couch to loan.

Interests

Camping/ backpacking/ hiking/ the outdoors; reading, especially fantasy and sci-fi; bikes!; and good beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

books: I don't read quite so much as I used to, and I find that what I take time to read is on the lower end of the literary spectrum. That being said, I do prefer books with realistic relationships and strong female characters.
music: I really love trashy pop when I'm biking. I'm terrible at finding a branch of music to enjoy, so mostly what I listen to is what my sister introduced to me in the 90s-early 2000s. Rancid, the Ramones, Clash, Dead Kennedys, K'NAAN, and the Distillers are all bands I listen to. I also love Disney musicals.
movies: I can quote most of any Lord of the Rings movie. My next favorite is probably V for Vendetta.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite epic story involves rappelling out of a 3rd story window using bed sheets as rope. Unfortunately, they ripped... but I was halfway down and didn't get too injured.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can do some pretty cool hula hoop tricks, if you'd like to learn some! I can also explain the theory behind lockpicking, and teach you how to do a parkour roll.
