ABOUT ME

I'm currently a student at Sciences Po in Paris, France but I'm originally from Orange County, Southern California. During the summer, I volunteer at a camp for children and teens impacted or infected with HIV/AIDS and I hope one day to work at an HIV/AIDS Awareness and Advocacy NGO or non-profit.

PHILOSOPHY

My tattoo: "We are who we are so love yourself" - loving and accepting yourself is the first step to a healthy and fulfilling life!

Intereses

LIFE!!! Love traveling, dogs, pastries, books, laughing my head off, vulgar jokes and obscenities, shopping and modern art.

Books: currently reading 5 books simultaneously... The Lovely Bones, Crime & Punishment, Catcher in the Rye, Eat Pray Love, and The Lucifer Effect. Books on my bedside table that I plan on digging into once I finish these other ones: Bukowski, Eggers, Fante, Vonnegut.

Music: Adele, Cut Copy, Phoenix, the Strokes, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Foreign Exchange, Little Brother, the Roots, Gym Class Heroes, Corinne Bailey Rae, Coldplay, the Morning Benders, Jason Mraz, among MANY others

Movies: Fight Club, LOTR Trilogy, Grease, RENT, PS. I Love You... I'm not much of a movie person but I'm always looking to expand my tastes!

Volunteering at Camp Kindle (summer camp for HIV/AIDS affected children and teens) and hearing their stories and learning to appreciate life. Living in Paris for the past 7 months and leaving everything I know behind.
