I am Jan, 29 from Austria I am a passionate and light-hearted highly-energetic traveler. I really like to meet new people all over the world. That's the reason why I just quit my job at the Austrian Customs to travel.
I don't know where I will start but I am pretty sure it will be an awesome experience for me because right now I am searching for my way of doing things and how I want to become in future. I am an extroverted person with a passion for good food, wine, awesome places, classical music and nice conversations. In my free time I really like to read, play Baseball and all other kinds of sports and driving my motorbike.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

A good French Canadian friend told me about Couchsurfing so I decided to join. He still tries to convince me to go with him to Svalbard to night hunt cave lions with a burning spear. He's a strong good-looking man, would make a fine spearman but I am afraid of his wacko plans.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

There are so many good songs out there but I would say my favorite kind of music is classical rock like "Status Quo" and "Bon Jovi" and I love Johann Strauss Jr. he's definitely the waltz king :).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I went to Canada last December and that was the most awesome trip I've done so far. We got about -35° C and it was so extremely cold and I would do it every time again.
There has been another awesome trip for me 6 months, 10 countries and a lot of awesome experiences. I've done what I always wanted to to and made it to New Zealand.
