I like to travel, arts, love, meeting interesting people and making good friends.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in life, in humans, animals and nature and some kind of way everything is in harmony; some kind of karma; if you give something it comes back to you. Some questions about space and time; if there'd be an finite space, what'd be behind it? If the time will end.. what will happen after? On this place I am sitting now, are there other dimensions?

Say if you'd have a flat 2 dimensional creature on a ball and you would lift it up it would appear to be in another dimension every small movement you'd make, wouldn't that happen with us as well if they'd lift us up out of the 3 Dimensional world? (though we wouldn't experience any 3 dimensional movement, no up/left/right..)).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to travel and I like to explore different cultures. I participate by surfing/hosting, meeting up and going to meet-ups.

At the moment I have only a couch available for staying over, not the most convenient one to sleep on but if you're ok with it, just let me know! I'd have to acknowledge my housemate though 1/2 nights is no issue.

I'd might get a tatami in the future that'd fit in my room (a little more convenient than the living room).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences so far: I have had some amazing experiences in Japan and South Korea. Awesome hosts and seen quite a lot of both the countries. I did have time though (3 months). I have been from Tokyo until Shimonoseki (and Fukuoka), then Busan until Seoul and then back to Tokyo.

I have had some people staying over and from different cultures.

Zainteresowania

I like to learn languages and about other cultures. I speak Spanish, English and dutch. I understand most catalán and am at intermediate level. Italian/german I have some small basics and understand some and I am mostly maintaining my Japanese words but planning to expand it a little word by word (no high goals to reach fluency, but it's fun to watch japanese animé in japanese which subtitles and understand some of the words passing and I might pick up and learn the Hirigana characters, which doesn't seem impossible.

I also like being creative. When I have time I like to draw, make comics or invent stories. Put some music on and paint some fantasy landscape.. Filosofe a little bit, chilling on the terras or checking out about culture/restaurants in Barcelona to visit/use for my work (I am a tour guide).

Coldplay, Manu Chao, Moby, Air, Bob Marly, latin music,

I like almost all kinds of music, chill-out music, feel good music (Moby, Bob marly, manu chao, Calexico, Modena city ramblers) including some classical music and even some metal, I am only not a big fan of hard-style music.

Reading I do very little though I know there's a lot of amazing books to read... jsut need to find the time for it. I have read the Tolkin books, Harry potter series, Golden Compass, Sidharta, el niño en el pijama de rajas (it's not spanish but I read it in spanish and only remember this title)... Some other dutch books.

Mostly of the typical ones, though I read Lotr when I was 12 before the big hype. I currently mostly read practical/informacional; about certain plants species, cooking recipes, encounter myself lost sometimes when I am bored on wikipedia opening one link to another about various topics: history, past, culture, psychology, religions etc, etc.

Movies I love most are: Amelie and La vita e bella. Furthermore I like the godfather movies, Pulp Fiction, Amores Perros ( a little of everything, even crazy ones like battle royale).

Series: currently watching the game of throne series. Breaking bad was very good.

I am trying to maintain my Spanish watching the series of Aguila roja, pretty simple plot stories zorro style, though good to practice Spanish and get to know a little bit about Spanish middle ages.

I also like anime and japanese movies. My favorite anime is death note; there's still some I haven't even started yet (naruto).

The most amazing experiences come from Japan as I feel like I have been very close in touch with the culture and the way people live and then also south Korea. Though I really wonder what I will encounter in Latin america.

I have had 15 wonderfull days in thailand. Amazing beaches, visited several Islands and seen some nice cultural places.

I have been traveling a lot through Spain under good company. Visited: Valencia, Cabo del Gato, Grenada, Sevilla, Cadiz, Jerez de la frontera, Casseres, Finesterra, Santiago de compostella, grau (asturias), Avila, Madrid, Cadaquez, and a lot of small towns especially in cataluñya. Yes Spain I do live and I feel a little bit Spanish now, it is an amazing country full with good food/wines/artisan beers/culture/local places/music.....

Visited Porto, Lisboa in Portugal.

Been in the north/middle and south of France (Paris, Troyes, Avallon, close to Pyrinees and a lot more).

And more experiences in europe (netherlands, Italy, belgium, germany, Thech, danmark (very young).

I enjoy meeting people with a passion for life, interesting hobbies and experiences, honest people with a good heart. I like to share interests in thoughts about life, culture, people, love. I also like to go out do active things like climbing, visiting places, skiing, ...

Czym mogę się podzielić z gospodarzami

I can share my experiences I had traveling. Dutch or Spanish culture, several languages, I like to cook and know some special dutch recipes or some spanish/dutch combines. I love to make curries, soups, dutch stampots, pancakes.

I have a high interest in insects/plants/bees. Have my own Terras-garden with several herbs/eatable plants/fruits and bee attracting flowers (I love to see bees, amazing creatures and of course all other animals you'll find in nature/wildlife).
