About Me

I could boil this whole "about me" thing down to three simple things: plants, music, and travel. I've found it hard to stay in one place, but between moving around, I've had so many great experiences, many of them thanks to amazing CS hosts and friends met along the way.

As I'm getting farther away from the -teens and closer to the scarier -ties, I'm planning some big trips to places I've always been dying to go: Chile, Costa Rica, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Iceland, and some western US states.

I've had a lot of great people host me and show me around, and I'd like to do the same for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like "amazing" stories, but what I really love are the weird/things-gone-terribly-wrong/awkward travel stories. I got lost on a solo, non-stop nine-hour hiking trip that put me at the border of Hungary and Slovakia and went through every weather pattern along the way. Someone tried to buy my friend in Egypt. I've played dominos for near three hours in almost complete silence in a fairly strange and awkward Couchsurfing situation in Knoxville. And I can't even handle Atlanta, Georgia.

Countries I’ve Visited
