Just trying to travel around and see more of the world before my college starts up again.

ABOUT ME

My name is Jacob Abbott. I am 21 years old. I like traveling around even though I don't like flying much. I'm never really good at making out profiles like this but I'll try. Well, I guess if I had to say something about me, I would say what I've been told and have experienced. My friends have told me that I'm a pretty good listener and good at being empathic. I've been told that I apologize too much for things that aren't my fault. Sometimes I tend to worry too much that I might be annoying people or bugging them. There are also times I worry that I might be talking too much so I might stay quiet. And to be perfectly honest one of my friends I met in Salzburg put it in a good term. They said their first impression was that I was going to be a dork who might get on their nerves but after talking with me they said I was a "cool dork." A little bit of an oxymoron but they thought it fit nicely.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think that everyone has their own story and experiences that make them unique and interesting. I like thinking that little acts of kindness to strangers here and there leave small imprints on other peoples lives and hopefully give them the want to help other people without really thinking their is a gain for themselves.

Reading, movies (not horror though), music (most any kind), photography, traveling (of course), and making lots of friends. Oh I'm also really interested in different languages and like to meet people from all over the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning about the culture of places I'm going and talking about differences I see between different ones. I also like cooking for other people since I can never cook for just one person. I always make too much.
