About Me

I am working with a cabbage cooperative in the mountains of El Salvador (by La Palma) for the next 2 years. I am interested in meeting people in El Salvador and going scuba diving more here.

PHILOSOPHY

"We'll make it work"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So far, I have gone Couch Surfing four times- Istanbul, Athens, Lisbon, and Rabat.

All of my experiences were incredibly wonderful. I was able to talk with my hosts a lot about their experiences in their countries, see their cities from the local perspective, and make friends I know I will keep in touch with for a while. I would highly, highly, highly recommend CouchSurfing after my fantastic experiences.

Interests

Hiking, drinking tea, trying new and unusual things, scuba diving, and living life to the fullest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In high school I went on a trip with my environmental science class at Catalina island, an island off the coast of southern California. The three days we were there "fish balls" started forming in the seas (when the birds and sharks force the fish to the shore once or twice every year to feed). Snorkeling that trip was magical- we were surrounded by walls of fish, were able to see hundreds of sharks, and saw almost every "rare" creature for southern California (octopus, seal, lobster, squid, otter, and more). That day taught me how insanely beautiful the world can be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about American business, backpacking and American culture. I really want to learn photography and how to make tea. I love to give back to my community and also want to learn more about microfinance programs.
