Salutations à tou-te-s et, (peux etre) bienvenu-e à JabreZAD ! Tapie au fin fond de la vallée de l'Eyrieux, en nord-Ardèche, JabreZAD se veut espace d'expérimentations diverses et variées ouvert a tous ! Il s'agit d'une maison en hauteur de vallée avec 1,3 hectares de terrain divers (bois, lande, agricole…) bâtie en terrasse et exposée plein sud (donnée relativement importante, en particulier l'hiver). Nous ne sommes pas dans une démarche marchande et fonctionnons plutôt sur l'échange de produits ou services sans base monétaire, en particulier la récup' alimentaire. La majorité des chantiers se font avec de la récup' et de la débrouille.
JabreZAD est un endroit ouvert à tou.te.s et fondé sur l’accueil, de tout type de personnes sans distinctions d'aucunes sortes dans un esprit de respect mutuel et de solidarité. Une partie des chantiers en cours concernent d'ailleurs l'ouverture de nouvelles chambres pour accueillir plus de monde. Il y a un potager et de nombreuses terrasses en pierre sèche, du bois à profusion et une ruine à restaurer au dessus de l'habitation actuelle. Les chantiers sont multiples et divers, adaptés à toutes formes de compétences voire aucune ! Certain.e.s d'entre nous ont déjà fait du wwoofing en tant que participant, donc on va essayer d'éviter certaines déconvenues déjà vécues ailleurs (par exemple l'application des droits syndicaux du wwoofing).

Nous parlons anglais, et un petit peu allemand, arabe et tchèque. Nous sommes dans une petite ville où tous les services sont accessibles à pied ou à vélo (nous en avons deux), et pour ces derniers, nous sommes juste au dessus de la Dolce Via (réseau cyclable de 150 km).

Hi everyone and (maybe) welcome to JabreZAD ! JabreZAD is an area located deep inside Eyrieux's valley in northern Ardèche. It's a place dedicated to any kind of experimentation, open to everyone without any discrimination and based on mutual respect and solidarity. Basically it's a house over the valley with 13 000 square meters of different grounds (wood, land, agricultural space) built on terrace which is a typical mountainous form of farming. JabreZAD has a south exposure, that means direct sunlight the whole day. It's very important during winter ! We live on a nonprofit basis and we mainly work on good and duty exchange without currency involved, particulary on freeganism and DIY. Most of the ongoing work is done with recycling and inventivity.
A big part of the work is about building new facilities to welcome more people. There is a vegetables' garden and numerous terraces made in dry stones. There is also prolific wood and a ruin to renovate entirely, just above the actual house. Activities are various and multiple, and fit for any kind of skills, even none.
Some of us have already done woofing as volunteers, so we try to avoid some problems encontered elsewhere (as woofers' syndical rights).

By the way we speak english, a very little german, spanish arab and czech. We are in a little town so every services are available by foot or bicyle (there are two of them). And we are just above Dolce Via, which is a network of bicycle pathes.
