ABOUT ME

I've lived in Alaska for 6 years, but have no departed and am living in the flat land of the mid-west in Springfield, IL.

I've had many wacky and weird experiences here on this earth, most of the time they are not my fault, I just end up being at the right place at the right time.

I've lived in Africa (S. Africa and Swaziland) for a year, doing mission and social work and loved it and want to move there for the rest of my life when I finish up school.

I have one younger brother and one yellow lab dog named Husker!

PHILOSOPHY

I am not ashamed to say I am a Christ follower, I disagree with most "Christians" and believe that the American Church is not a pleasing sight to God. I do believe that the church is there to take care of the widows and orphans, those that can't help themselves, and should be accepting of anyone no matter what background they come from. I believe in community and love sharing things with believers and non-believers alike. And, I believe Love Is The Movement.

I got to do it with a really awesome guy in Honolulu, HI and am looking forward to doing more soon, hopefully this summer.

Interessen

I really enjoy: skiing in AK, traveling anywhere, having coffee, trying new foods, creating pottery, taking photos, long boarding, making sand castles on the beach, a party every once in a while, pretending to play guitar, watching movies.
