ABOUT ME

I go to Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. I've been to a lot of different states, but the only other country I've been to is Mexico. I'm not too interested in tourist activities, but I'm not opposed to them either. I'm more interested in blending in as smoothly as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I just need a place to stay while I travel through Europe. I will be traveling with my friend, Zack, who goes to Ole Miss in Mississippi.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My dad is always looking for someone to invite to stay at our house. He's done it several times with groups of cyclists. My mom hates it, not because she doesn't like strangers, but because my dad volunteers the house with asking my mom. Mostly he has invited cyclists to stay with us, but I'm sure he would invite anyone.

In July 2014, I stayed with Petr from Prague in the Czech Republic, and that was a lot of fun.

Interests

Both Zack and myself are studying Classical Studies (Greece and Rome and Greek and Latin). We're pretty nerdy, but we can reign it in if necessary. We both have great senses of humor (which is very important to me), and we're willing to try almost anything new.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have strong music preferences, and neither does Zack. I love independent movies, but I'll watch any movie. In the past, I've read almost exclusively Science Fiction. I love Asimov, Tolkien, Heinlein, etc.

I'll teach you all the Latin you want to know. But in terms of practical knowledge, I'm an Eagle Scout, so I have a handful of practical skills. Nothing life-saving, but useful enough. I'd like to learn more about other people and different ways of doing things. I'd like to learn anything you can teach me,
