ABOUT ME

I was born in far northern Ontario, yet have lived most of my life in the States. It took me three years to realize what I really enjoyed doing: traveling, learning languages, and public health research. I spent the summer of 2009 in St. Petersburg, Russia working with people with severe substance abuse disorders. I had a fantastic time and met a lot of amazing people.
For some reason, wherever I go, trouble always seems to find me. From these experiences I have developed a repertoire and refined my skills as a raconteur. While my stories can always be a source of entertainment, I really love hearing other people's (mis)adventures. If it wasn't a bad experience, then it wasn't a good story!

I bounce around about every 2 years so wherever I am, I'll be offering a couch. Now that I am abroad, I'll be using it more to meet fellow travellers and locals to explore.
