ABOUT ME

I'm a student filmmaker at the University of Florida. I'm looking to become a cinematographer in commercial film and expand my experimental video work. I'm a pretty adaptable person and my attitude definitely depends on my environment. I'm not big on very bright things even though I'm slightly obsessed with the color orange.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a huge advocate of opening up any and all people to couch surfing as not just an alternative way to travel, but as a very real and humble social experience.

I used to have a merged profile with two friends back in France, but now that I'm back in the states, my traveling will mostly be solo.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed with two close friends throughout central Europe, which brought about things like warehouse parties in the Czech Republic, participating in student protests in Vienna, and excellent Hungarian wine. Opening myself up to couch surfing is probably one of the most positive decisions of my recent life.

Interests

Most film, literature and social theory. Decentralized views of history and humanity. Turkish Coffee. Tea. Beaches...

and music festivals. I will travel far for a good music festival. Primavera Sound Fest '08 in Barcelona was incredible. I work every year in my town's hugely popular punk music weekend called The Fest.

I enjoy hearing new music almost daily, but I have a longtime devotion to Leslie Feist.
