About Me

I was born in the foothills of North Carolina, right by the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Lure. My family owned twelve acres of which we put to good use raising pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs, cats and a Spanish mustang. The woods were our playground growing up and we explored every nook and cranny of them.
When we weren’t climbing trees we were learning about the liberal arts and all the wonderful American, English and Scottish authors. I grew up learning the piano, fiddle and loving to sing, out of which three I still play fiddle and sing.
I was raised Traditional Roman Catholic and was blessed to have an amazing parish priest for ten years who guided me in life and was a big influence in shaping me into who I am today. I have a very conservative view of the world and of the way I live my life but it is not a Puritanical view. I love good times, good wine and good people.
My favorite hobbies are the aforesaid singing, reading, writing, photography and travel. I am getting to live out my dream of being a traveller outside the U.S. by attending a Liberal Arts College based in New Hampshire but which has a campus in Rome where I am now completing my sophomore year. I hope one day to do lots of Missionary work and have a job as a traveling journalist/author/ photographer.
I am very carefree by nature and VERY adventurous. I love making new friends and can’t refrain from making them laugh when I am with them. I want to get to know what the world is like outside America and try and spread joy in places where maybe there isn’t any.
