About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Savour life's simple pleasures; meet other kindred spirits
ABOUT ME
Born and bred in Singapore, a tiny yet peculiar and fascinating place that I call home.
A fresh graduate from university, I'm currently working in Singapore's tourism industry.
I enjoy travelling and meeting new people. I'm curious, adventurous, friendly, warm, open-minded.
To me tolerance and cultural sensitivity are very important. Treat others as you want other people to treat you.
Being part of the Couchsuring community has been awesome so far. Being blessed to have experienced the goodness, warmth and hospitality of strangers who have since become friends.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life with no regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have couchsurfed about five times. Thank you to the awesome hosts who have been so hospitable to me so far :)
Currently, I'm staying with my family of five so hosting is difficult at the moment. But I am free to meet up for cup of coffee, or if you would like me to show you around Singapore :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
1) Zipolite,Oaxaca Mexico: Kate and Adam
Beautiful people with a beautiful house near the beach They also made yummy vegetarian food! Not only welcomed us into their homes but also shared with us some of their life stories and experiences.
2) San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico: Lorena, Daniel and Rosa
Experienced the true Mexican spirit! Lively couple and caring grandma who not only showed us around town but also invited us to a Mexican posada.
3) San Francisco, California, United States:
Had many interesting conversations with my couch host David and we went to a house party together!
4)Ray Tran & Maria Macau:
Visited Macau, where my couch host Ray graciously hosted me for a day in this former Portuguese colony.
Subsequently met Maria, a lovely Portuguese girl for a cup of coffee.
