Hello! I recently graduated from university in the United Kingdom and am now travelling through Asia with my mate. Originally I am from New Zealand and came to the UK to do my master’s in mathematics. My interests are broad — from the echoes of black holes, to the rise and fall of empires — I’m sure we can find common ground.

Presently I’m making my way through Türkiye, Iran, Pakistan, and India. My mate is an Aussie named Will who I met whilst studying in the UK.

I’m excited to meet new people as I make my way through Iran. Fascinated by history and new experiences, I’m ecstatic to meet locals who can share their beautiful country with me.

When I’m inside I enjoy reading, writing, drinking tea, and doing a cheeky bit of maths.

When I’m outside you’ll find me running, hiking, and even doing a bit of rowing.

Some of my favourite books are ‘The Shining’ by Stephen King, ‘The Forever War’ by Joe Haldeman, and ‘Animal Farm’ by George Orwell.

On the big screen, I’m a huge fan of John Carpenter’s ‘The Thing’, Stanley Kubrick’s ‘Doctor Strangelove’, and Geoff Murphy’s ‘Utu’.

My tastes in music range from rock and pop, to classical and baroque. Crowded House, ABBA, and Corelli are some of my favourites.

Adept in the art of Scottish snare drumming, I once represented New Zealand at the World Pipe Band championships in Scotland. Battling with some of the most elite bands from across Scotland and abroad, my college’s band came runner-up in the school division.
