I am an American from Boston, Massachusetts and spent the past 4 years out at university in Fort Collins, Colorado where I studied tourism. Traveling has been a passion of mine for a long time so I figured studying tourism would open doors to see the world and all the beauty it has to offer. Traveling for me has become not only about discovering and learning about the exterior world, but also about turning inward to learn about myself and my own culture through introspection and the perception of other peoples and their cultures. I strive to understand the world as a whole by spending time in various countries and experiencing as much as possible. Through a spiritual lens I see life as being full of positive, meaningful, and beneficial lessons and experiences if one looks at it right - it's all about the silver lining!I have been living in Chiang Mai, Thailand for the past 3 months and am so stoked to head south to Australia. I am new to couchsurfing hence my lack of friends, verification, etc.
