About Me

I'm just some 18 year old west coast canadian kid looking for some adventure and a good laugh in the big old world. personality wise im fairly quiet and keep myself to myself until im comfortable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was looking at my bank account and concluded I needed a more affordable alternative to staying in hostels and hotels. plus staying with a local who knows the area is always a leg up.

Interests

I love playing music! i can play guitar, drums and a bit of piano.i feel this incredible euphoria when ever i play music, guitar is my go to instrument, i cant read music and im terrible with keys, but give me a guitar, a tube amp with some reverb and ill be content for about 4 or 5 hours. it's what i love. i also like to cook. im usually up for a good party. and chess. i love chess.

Music, Movies, and Books

led zeppelin! ratatat, the white stripes, the black keys, tame impala, mother mother, the tragically hip, nirvana, biggie, chet faker, gramatik, the doors, rolling stones, a tribe called quest, the arctic monkeys, the dead weather, hozier, amy winehouse... the list goes on. again with the music i know. ill listen to anything, now im not saying ill enjoy everything but ill listen to it. i used to read more than i do now, but my number one book of all time is "plato and a platypus walk into a bar" its this book that explains different schools of philosophy through jokes and little skits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

finished high school. that was really hard for me and my attention span. i saved some woman at this cafe from choking. got in the newspaper and everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

id love to learn a new language! specifically french (its the second biggest language in canada) but any other one would be great as well. i could also teach you some chords on the guitar or piano. better yet you could teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook! ill buy you a drink! My company! Ive taken my first year in carpentry at the local university so i could help around your place with things that need fixing or just odd jobs. i can make a wicked cheese cake if that counts for anything.
