I am a poultry farmer and carpenter living in Vermont. I’m interested in building sustainable, local communities around good food. I love to play basketball, cook, drink tea, whitewater raft and kayak, get out into wild places and explore new cities. I studied engineering and geology at UCLA, although that feels like a lifetime ago. I’ve spent time as an outdoors guide, worked on and managed a few farms, run a pop-up restaurant, and worked as a systems engineer. I am as open minded as they come and in a phase of life where I am looking for new friends and experiences along the way.

I am Couchsurfing because it is a unique way to experience a new place and because I would like to return the favor and host folks myself. I love meeting interesting people and being inspired by their stories.
