ABOUT ME

I'm a third year undergraduate at Northwestern University in Chicago who decided to see Europe. Studying in Bologna, Italy for the year allows me so much time to visit all the places I've seen in film and read about from Hemingway or Shelley. I've got a travel bug and a sarcastic sense of humor.

PHILOSOPHY

People should take care of other people. As resolute as the law of limited resources appears, we've managed to populate the earth with 6 billion people. Resources don't seem to be the problem.

Italian authors and directors are my focus currently, but generally Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Ellison, Tolstoy, Steinbeck, Hammett, top the authors list while Coppola, Anderson, Scorsese, Mann, R. Scott, and Leone top the directors list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a man raised in racist New Orleans share meals and friendship with a man from the receiving end of that same racism.

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked construction for a year outside of New Orleans. I've read a good deal. I know American history and politics. I'm a self taught cook.
