About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling off the 'travel bug'

ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty-something guy from London. I was studying and working after school for 5 years and as soon as I got my degree, I left London and started traveling.

I've been through South East Asia, India, Australia, New Zealand and I'm currently living (semi-permanently) in San Francisco, California. I'll be starting my travels again on day 1 of 2014 starting in Colombia, and I have a flight back to London 6 weeks later from Rio, Brazil.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

I'm a libertarian at heart and, while straight, I'm a strong supporter of LGBT rights around the world.

Why can't we all just get along?

Music, Movies, and Books

How about a movie and a band from each of the past 5 decades?

1960s - Dr. No & The Beatles
1970s - The Graduate & Pink Floyd
1980s - Raiders of the Lost Ark & The Smiths
1990s - Pulp Fiction & Blur
2000s - The Dark Knight & Arctic Monkeys

Although not mentioned above, I'm a big fan of Wes Anderson movies like The Darjeeling Limited and The Life Aquatic.

I'm not a prolific reader, but one of my favourite books is One Day by David Nicholls. Probably one of the few books I've read more than once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two of the greatest things I've done on this trip, since Jan 2013;

1. Met the love of my life while scuba-diving in Koh Tao, Thailand

2. Listened to The Beatles on the roof of an Ashram in Rishikesh, India, right next to the Ganges and a 10 minute walk from where The Beatles were 45 years earlier practicing Transcendental Meditation and writing The White Album.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom, United States
