ABOUT ME

I am in my mid twenties. I have spend the majority of my life in Victoria Australia.

I am a tranquil guy. Very relaxed and open to the world and its people. I enjoy spending time alone (I mean, I am travelling alone!!), but I also love talking to people, drinking and eating with others. I am gentle and respectful and kind.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not abosolutely sure yet!

But I know I live by trying to live my life considering ethics and morals and making decisions which

I am very much for many types of social support

Finally, perhaps most importantly, I hold it true that the natural world is everything. I think it is extremely important in that it is essential for human life, but also that it can teach so much and give so much pleasure (to the sensations and also to the analytical and philosophical mind).

I have not hosted or surfed with anyone yet. This is a new venture for me!

Interests

I love to cook, garden. read and walk around. I like to look at beautiful things. I adore anything to do with the natural world, so sometimes put the walking, pretty things and nature together and hike. And I plan to one day become a farmer. Growing and cooking food, man that´ll be the day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music first and foremost. I will give everything a listen and see how it feels, but I find myself always coming back to a lot of hip hop (Tribe, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamaar, Chance the Rapper, De La Soul, Raphael Saadiq, Miguel, Drake) and that very very broad mash of indie/pop (maybe things like TV on The Radio, Deerhunter, Billy Brag, Arcade Fire, Anna Calvi, Neko Case, Sharon Van Etten, Wilco, Galaxie 500, Lucinda Williams, Tune Yards, Vampire Weekend. And always universals like Prince and MJ <3

Love to read, favorite authors would be Philip Roth, Barbara Kingsolver, Richard Ford, books I´ve loved recently include Live From Death Row by Mumia Abu Jamal, Le Petite Prince (Cannot beleive I only read that recently!), Sacred Waters - A Journey to the Many Sources of the Ganges (fantastic!) and Engleby by Sebastian Faulks - a chance travel discovery which I am still enjoying a lot.

But I also love good T.V. programs and movies. Just never find myself watching too many of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked from Chefchaouen to Akchour in Morocco. I climbed a mountain, walked through fields of blooming mariuana (what a perfumed world!) and valleys of fruiting fig and mountain springs. It was a really special experience for me.
