Hiya :) My name's Jackie, Jaq, J... I pretty much respond to whatever you want to call me, haha. I recently joined CouchSurfing after hearing about the amazing experience my best friend had while using this website for her trip to Colorado. Recently, me and my boyfriend Collin have been entirely taken over by the stresses of work, school and life. We've been at a breaking point in our lives and we are determined to not only find the beauty in ourselves, but in the rest of the world. When things get tough, we never give up, we just find new ways to keep on going and that is just what we are trying to do. I recently quit my job working as a salesmen for AT&T and he is on his last leg of his job as a tras-con agent, and we are hoping to take some time off to see the world. We have a decent amount saved up but every penny counts while traveling and looking for places to stay can be overwhelming. I'm hoping to connect with some amazing locals all over the world that can show us the beauty and awe of their cities. I'm a firm believer in being a traveler, not a tourist and I will always do my best to leave a dwelling better than I found it. I'm not very talented, so I don't have much to trade in return, but I will always be of service to offer a helping hand, cook a meal, clean up or whatever else you may need help with. What I want most out of my travels is to just become so enticed with how my mortal brothers and sisters live in their home countries. I have a lot of love for where I live and there is no place like home, so I would love to see what makes other people's homes so special to them. Truly connecting with people and the natural beauty in this world is quite literally the best gift I could ever receive.
