Before covid I was working my way in the music industry at venues, under agencies, freelance photography for bands in nyc, freelance booking. Right now I am just focusing on my freelance photography to make end's meet in the city. Trying to make safe connections if possible and provide some source of support and connection with everything going in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always looking for fun and cheap ways to travel as a low income salary human. Whether it is a hostel or couch surfing, I think it is a great way to meet locals and others traveling in unfamiliar places with the hopes of friendly faces.

Right now in these times however, I'm trying to see if there is anyone in need of a temporary roommate who could use help with groceries, cooking, and honestly any duties that you find helpful. Right now I am on rent strike and I'm about to break my current lease. But I need somewhere temporary to stay until I can save a bit of money to get back on my feet. If I could also help someone else in the process, that would be a bonus. Or if you know anyone who currently isn't living in the city and has a vacant home that needs sitting, pets/plants to be looked after I'm all ears for that as well.

I guess driving to LA and back to NJ over a month was the most amazing thing I've done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Depending on where I am, I may have groceries, but I always think a "family" dinner is fun! (always willing to go out/or get groceries). Cooking and dining together I think can be a fun and cheap way to connect. I really just want to share an experience with hosts and make friends :)
