ABOUT ME

I am a Texas gal studying abroad in Europe until June. Tall and inappropriate most of the time.
I generally have a laid back attitude about things.
I laugh loudly and obnoxiously mostly always. Love to read, write, and talk about frivolous things. Food is my number one interest..which could be both sad and wonderful.
Love going outside, working out: yoga, pilates, running, swimming, you name it..

Books, music, coffee, chocolate, concerts, people watching, television, learning, eating, and of course...traveling. I have quite the sense of adventure and am always looking for fun and new things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Smiths, The Shins, Ingrid Michaelson, Rilo Kiley, The Blow, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Scissor Sisters, Kate Nash, Britney Spears, Lana Del Rey, Ashanti, George Strait...and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I like to mix it up with my music. I, like my music, am not confined to one genre.

Movies: Like Crazy, Drive, The Help, Bridesmaids, When Harry Met Sally.., Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction...again, the list goes on. I gravitate more towards comedies though.

Books: Catcher in the Rye, People Are Unappealing: Even Me, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? And Other Concerns, Bossypants. I mostly enjoy memoirs and novels..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen Paris, Normandy, Versailles, London, Manchester, Liverpool..and soon..Seville.

I have worked my entire life and have attempted to make the life I want for myself all on my own. I have been in love and seen beautiful, wondrous things I never thought I would have the pleasure of seeing. I have grown up in a loving home, with a huge loving family who has supported me in anything I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share my experiences and Texas culture. I'd also love to share my love for making food that is close to my heart. My ability to write and banter with people would also be shared.

I love hearing about other cultures and learning new and interesting ideas about the world.
