ABOUT ME

At night I stare up into the sky, in wonder. It is the tiny extent of our awareness amidst so much unknowing that inspires me daily. Education for me is not the filling of a vessel, but the kindling of a flame. I live to learn, create, inspire, and bring joy, and these are desires that I never fully satiate or appease. The more I know, the more I realize I know nothing. I yearn to realize more about biology, physics, mathematics, astronomy, our environment, history, my deeper meaning, music, and God, whatever that may be. I love developing deep relationships, pursuing excellence, playing music, and dancing with that ever changing convergence of beauty and light that we call life.
