About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making life better for as many people as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am 24, living in Manchester for the last 2 years. I did my bachelor's in music at Ohio University and am currently working my way through a masters in social work at UNH. I find life in general fascinating - from the complexity of people to the smallest incredible details of bugs and birds and trees - and could sit observing any of these things for way longer than is probably good for me. I love learning new things and am always up for an interesting story or adventure, especially if it involves being outside. I'm also a vegetarian and enjoy cooking and feeding other people.

PHILOSOPHY

"Getting involved in something, helping others, improving the fabric of the universe - I believe if you do that, even just a little bit, I think you'll find your life gets better, too."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommates and I have hosted a lot of couch surfers and I love the idea of seeing life through other people's experiences. I just created my own profile so we can continue to host and potentially travel in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, my experience with couch surfers has brought nothing but wonderful people and interesting stories. There are so many people in the world doing amazing things and its great to be a part of the process for some of them.

Interests

Cooking, reading, running, rock climbing, community service/volunteering, being outside.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During high school and college, I spent several summers in Haiti with some of the poorest, most desperate people in the world who also turned out to be some of the most joyful and happy individuals I've ever met. It was the biggest moment of learning that happiness and joy don't come from material things or having a "good life." Instead they come from within - always keep hoping, always keep loving, and always be kind.
