Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about Couchsurfing from a friend I met in a hostel who told me how amazing her experiences were while traveling around Ethiopia. I love the idea of connecting with locals, sharing cultures, and creating real friendships while traveling. I enjoy hosting people and would love to both meet travelers and be hosted by others around the world.

Interests

I’m always down for a nice concert or just chilling with a good book. I enjoy trying out local cuisines, outdoor activities, and meeting people with different stories. I try running and exploring beautiful places whether that’s a trail, a park, or a hidden café somewhere. And I’m fascinated by teas from different cultures. I’d love to try them all someday!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I’ve done was traveling from venice to trieste with zero Internet. Just survived on talking to the locals . Got lost a few times but still ended up in my location.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook some delicious Kenyan food — ugali, chapati, pilau, you name it! I’d love to learn how to make traditional meals from your country, too if we can get the ingredients :). And of course, we can share stories, laughter, and maybe a few recipes (or cups of tea!) while we’re at it.
