ABOUT ME

Hey, welcome to my profile. After travelling a bit in Canada many years ago using couchsurfing, I decided to host travellers back at home. Since then I have hosted lots of really cool people and am totally addicted to the site! I live in the most beautiful part of Scotland with my dog Toivo, and you should definitely think about visiting if you're interested in nature and wild places.

Couchsurfing seems to think I live on the Isle of Skye which is about 1-2 hours drive away. Just so you know, I actually live in Applecross which has virtually no public transport so you will need your own car. Google it, we have some impressive mountain roads and we are pretty remote. The nearest supermarket is in Dingwall (1.5 hours) or Kyle of Lochalsh (1 hour) although there is a small, expensive local shop which has essentials. I get quite a few messages from people who haven't read this so please tell me your favourite animal in your opening line to prove you have read this and realise where I am! :)
